Pool service in Orangecrest: the standard job, with a catch
Orangecrest is a neighborhood in the southeast corner of Riverside, and pool service in Orangecrest is the closest thing we have to a standard job: master-planned streets, tract homes built from the 1990s on, pools that went in with the house or a few years after, and yards that are neat, fenced and close together. That sounds easy. It mostly is. But Orangecrest pools are now 20 to 30 years old, and a pool that age is hitting the point where plaster, plumbing and first-generation equipment all start asking for attention at once. Pool Time has run Orangecrest routes for over ten years, and this is the part of Riverside where the weekly equipment check earns its keep.

Same tech, same day, every week. Stop thinking about the pool.

Tract-home pools have their own problems
The pool sits close to the house in Orangecrest, usually a few feet off the patio, which means deck splash, sunscreen and whatever the kids track in all end up in the water. That’s a chemistry load more than a debris load, so the weekly test matters more than the skim. We test chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid and calcium every visit and adjust with professional chemicals, not the diluted stuff from the big box on Van Buren.
Yards are close, which means your neighbor’s trees are your problem. A crape myrtle or a queen palm two fences over drops into your pool all summer, and you don’t get to prune it.
And the age thing. A pool built in 1998 has plaster that’s near the end of its life, a pump that has probably been replaced once, and a heater that may not have been. We watch the pad every visit so you find out about a failing pump seal in May, not on the Fourth of July. When something goes, we do pool pump repair and heater work on Hayward, Pentair, Jandy and Zodiac equipment, and we’ll say so if the unit is past saving.
Same tech, same day, on a compact route
Orangecrest is compact, which is good for you. Our routes run street by street, so your tech is in the neighborhood on the same day every week and there’s no “we’ll get to you when we’re in the area.” You’ll know their name. Most Orangecrest customers are at work when we come; an unlocked side gate is all we need, and we leave a note or send an update.
What we do in Orangecrest
Weekly service on Chemical-Only or Full Service: Chemical-Only from $100 a month for the chemistry, baskets and equipment check while you skim and brush; Full Service from $170 a month and we do all of it. Both are month to month with filter cleaning twice a year included. Standard Orangecrest tract pools usually land near the bottom of both ranges, which we’ll confirm on the phone.
If the pool has turned green, a green-to-clean comes first. If it’s a salt pool, which a lot of the newer Orangecrest builds are, we check the cell for scale every visit, because Riverside water scales salt cells fast and a scaled cell stops making chlorine without telling you.
Orangecrest, Mission Grove and the streets around them
Everything east of Trautwein Road and south of Alessandro, the streets off Orange Terrace Parkway, the neighborhoods around Orange Terrace Community Park and the March Air Reserve Base side, plus Mission Grove next door. If you’re in the Orangecrest ZIP, you’re on our route.

What Our Customers Say

Most of our customers came from a neighbor telling them about us. That is the only kind of advertising that has ever really worked for a pool company, so we take it seriously.

Orangecrest pool service questions
Straight answers to what Orangecrest pool owners ask us most. If yours isn’t here, call and ask.
It's age plus hard water. Rough plaster holds algae and scale. Balanced water slows it down; an acid wash or a replaster eventually fixes it. We'll tell you which stage yours is at.
Probably scale on the cell plates. Riverside water does that. We check it every visit and clean it when it needs it.
Skim and brush every week and run phosphate remover in summer. You can't prune their tree, but you can keep the pool ahead of it.
Chemical-Only from $100 a month, Full Service from $170. Standard tract pools usually sit near the low end. Phone quote.
Yes, it's on the same route.
No. Month to month.
