Weekly Pool Service in Riverside, CA
Same tech, same day, every week. Your pool stays clear through a Riverside summer and you stop thinking about it.
Our No Green Pool Guarantee: your pool doesn’t go green on our watch.
Month to month. No long-term contract.

Most of what we do is weekly pool service. It's also the part that decides everything else.
Weekly pool service is most of what Pool Time does in Riverside, and it’s the part that decides whether a pool is a pleasure or a chore. A pool that gets looked at every seven days stays clear. A pool that gets looked at when someone remembers turns green in August, and then you’re paying for a rescue instead of paying for upkeep. We’ve been running weekly routes across Riverside for over ten years, and over a hundred local homes are on them now.
Tired of a pool guy who doesn't show up? Don't lose another week.

Getting Started Takes One Call
No waiting around for a site visit. We can price most pools over the phone.
Size, location, and what the water is doing right now. We give you a price on the call.
Same day each week, same person. You will know their name.
That is the whole point of paying someone.
What Riverside Customers Say

Most of our customers came from a neighbor telling them about us. That is the only kind of advertising that has ever really worked for a pool company, so we take it seriously.

Why Riverside Homeowners Stay With Us
We have run pool routes across Riverside and San Bernardino counties for over ten years. That is long enough to know a shaded pool in Canyon Crest needs a different routine than an open one in Orangecrest, and long enough to have seen what our hard water does to a heater nobody descaled. Over a hundred local homeowners are on our routes. The five star rating came from them.

A hundred-plus Riverside homes on our routes, and a five star rating on Google.
Not a rotating crew. The person who knows your pool is the person who shows up.

What a weekly visit actually includes
People ask what they’re paying for, so here is the visit, start to finish.
Your tech skims the surface first. Then they brush the walls, the steps and the tile line. Brushing is what stops algae getting a grip on the plaster, and it’s the step that gets skipped when a service is in a hurry. After that they vacuum the floor and empty the skimmer and pump baskets.
Then comes the part that actually protects the pool: the water test. We check chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, cyanuric acid and calcium hardness, and adjust each one with professional-grade chemicals rather than the diluted stuff from the big box store. Cyanuric acid is the one most people haven’t heard of. It’s your chlorine’s sunscreen. Without enough of it, the Riverside sun burns your chlorine off by lunchtime.
In the hottest stretches we also add a clarifier and a phosphate remover, because phosphates are algae food and the Santa Ana winds blow them into every pool in the county. Every visit ends with a look at the pump, filter and heater, since a small problem caught at the equipment pad is a cheap problem.
Twice a year we clean your filter properly. That’s included in both plans.
Two plans: Chemical-Only or Full Service
We run two plans. Which one fits depends on how much of the work you want to keep.
Chemical-Only, from $100 a month. Every week we test the water, balance it with professional chemicals, empty the skimmer basket and check the equipment. Twice a year we clean the filter. You do the skimming, brushing and vacuuming yourself. It suits people who don’t mind being in the backyard and want the chemistry done by someone who does it all day.
Full Service, from $170 a month. Everything in Chemical-Only, plus we skim, brush and vacuum. You do nothing. It’s the one to pick if the point of paying for pool service is not having to think about the pool.
Both plans are month to month. There’s no long-term contract, and the price depends on your pool’s size and condition, which is why we quote each one rather than publishing a flat rate.
What weekly pool service costs in Riverside
Chemical-Only starts at $100 a month and Full Service at $170. Three things move the number from there.
Size. A bigger pool takes longer and uses more chemicals.
Tree cover. This matters more than people expect. A pool under heavy shade in Hawarden Hills or Canyon Crest collects leaves all week and needs more skimming, more brushing and more filter attention than an open pool in Orangecrest. Same size, different job.
Condition when we start. A pool that’s been looked after is priced as upkeep. A pool that’s cloudy or green needs a green-to-clean first, then goes onto a weekly plan at the normal rate.
We quote over the phone for most pools. Tell us the size, roughly where you are, and what the water looks like today, and we’ll give you a number on the call. If you want the longer version of what drives the price, we wrote it up in our guide to weekly pool service cost in Riverside.
Why weekly and not every other week here
Because of the heat. Once Riverside strings together weeks of 95-degree afternoons, chlorine burns off fast. A pool that looked perfect on Monday can cloud up by the weekend if nobody’s watching the chemistry. In August a neglected pool can go from clear to green in about 72 hours. Algae doesn’t wait for the next visit.
Every-other-week service works in milder climates. Here it means the water is unprotected for most of the second week, in the hottest part of the year, and that’s exactly when it turns. Weekly isn’t the premium option in Riverside. It’s the minimum that works.
A few pools need more than weekly. Larger pools, or ones under heavy tree cover, sometimes do better with two visits a week during peak heat. We’ll tell you honestly if yours is one of them.
Hard water, and what we do about it every visit
Riverside tap water is hard. Every time your pool evaporates in the heat, which is every day in summer, it leaves the minerals behind. Over time that shows up as chalky calcium scale on the tile line, rough patches on the plaster, and buildup inside your heater and salt cell that shortens their life.
We manage calcium hardness as part of every weekly test, and we brush the tile line every visit so scale never gets a foothold. When a pool comes to us with buildup already there, we point you at pool tile cleaning or an acid wash to reset it, and then the weekly service keeps it that way.
The same tech, the same day, every week
Pool care only works when it’s consistent, so you get the same technician on the same day each week. Not a rotating crew, and not a different truck every visit. The person who knows your pool, your equipment and your gate is the person who turns up.
You don’t need to be home. An unlocked side gate is usually all it takes. Most of our regular customers never rearrange their day for us, and we leave a note or send an update so you know we’ve been.
The reason most people fire their last pool company is a missed week. So we don’t miss weeks.

Weekly Pool Service Questions
Straight answers to what Riverside pool owners ask us most about weekly service. If yours isn’t here, call and ask.
Chemical-Only starts at $100 a month and Full Service at $170. The final number depends on your pool's size, how much tree cover it sits under, and what condition it's in when we start. We quote most pools over the phone.
On Full Service: skimming, brushing the walls and tile line, vacuuming, emptying the baskets, a five-point water test and chemical balance, and an equipment check. On Chemical-Only: the water test and balance, basket emptying and the equipment check, with the physical cleaning left to you. Both plans include filter cleaning twice a year.
Pick Chemical-Only if you don't mind skimming and brushing and just want the chemistry done properly. Pick Full Service if you want to never think about the pool. For most Riverside pools we'd suggest Full Service, because the brushing is the part people stop doing by mid-July.
No. Both plans are month to month. You can stop whenever you like.
No. As long as your tech can reach the pool and the equipment, usually through an unlocked side gate, we'll do the visit and be on our way. We leave a note or send an update so you know we've been.
In Riverside, weekly. Our summers strip chlorine out of the water fast enough that a pool can turn green in about 72 hours in August. Every-other-week leaves the water unprotected for the hottest part of that gap. A few large or heavily shaded pools actually need twice a week in peak season.
On our watch, it doesn't. That's our No Green Pool Guarantee. If your pool is already green when you call us, we run a green-to-clean first to get it clear, and then it goes onto the weekly plan.
